Attention Small Business Owners: Sometimes It is OK to Act Like a Child

• With all of our stresses and responsibilities, the times are few and far apart that we get to kick back and act like a kid at work. Instead we grow older, get wiser, and become more and more pessimistic. But according to blogger Melissa Cessera, it may pay off to act like a kid while running your business.

  

  In her latest blog post for Savor for Success, she discusses three of the refreshing qualities children possess that can help adult business owners.

  • No Is Not an Opinion

  More and more companies are adding video arcade games, basketball hoops, and other “kid” stuff to their offices in an attempt to increase camaraderie and creativity. Maybe Melissa and these companies are onto something. What do you think?

I agree with you about being a child again. I do miss that a lot when I was younger. At the age of 50 many women seem to find themselves not doing the things they was enjoyed however it's much fun when we smile and just have a good time to make us feel good and young again. My children tease me when I sing out loud, make unexpected humor jokes and they just shake their heads and say aw mom your embarrassing us. My mother always told me in order to feel young and free and with spirit, being around younger people provides a tune up for life and we should not be ashamed of wanting to pretend to be young. Why not I say it's great for the soul, body and mind.

I am totally agreed with your view that it is very essential to behave sometimes like a kid in the office atmosphere. As we all are aware that sometimes our mind got stuck due to lots of pressure of work in the office. So if there are some sports or games to play it will make our mind fresh and will help to work again with a refreshing mood. Thank you so much for a great opinion.
