Smooth basalt stones are heated to a comfortable temperature and placed on strategic areas of the body to soothe and relax. A full body massage is then performed by the therapist using both his/her hands, and warm stones, to melt away muscle tension and stress. Although gentle, can also be incorporated into deeper work when needed.

Martha specializes in a combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial Release techniques, and is known for her ability to customize each session to your individual comfort level, working as deeply or as gently as needed. She also offers hot stone massage, and seated chair massage for corporate events. Martha is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage, Certified by the NCBTMB, and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
