Golf lessons with Camille
5/16/2012
Teri C says: Camille teaches golf with just the right balance for me. In 3 lessons last year I was able to play golf. She combines her golf teaching with humor and a 'Zen' sense of just the right amount of feedback to keep me focussed and learning. Camille changed the game for me; I am really motivated to learn to play well.
30 Minute Session
5/06/2012
Andrew A says: I went in with an open mind, knowing that only so much could be done in 30 minutes. The instructor, Ken Overby, was great at highlighting some points for me to be consistent in my game after observing my swing.
Pete Dixon
5/04/2012
Mark B says: I have taken lessons with Pete (on and off) for several years. He is client focused and fun to work with. Pete has an amazing ability to teach the golf swing in a non-technical and memorable way. I get so much value from a single lesson that I have to write it down. I have never enjoyed the game more (or looked forward to an upcoming year) than I do today... all thanks to a Master teacher and a great person.
The light bulb effect -- thanks to Pete
4/23/2012
Jo S says: My lesson on Saturday 4/21 with Pete was just what I needed -- it became a light bulb moment in him explaining a simple move/swing thought that [click--light on] made a ton of sense. Should have seen some of my drives when I golfed the next day -- I amazed myself. Still need help in the fairway but that will come. It is Pete's simple, direct approach that makes him so awesome. Thanks Pete!
Lyndsey Devenish is Great!
4/23/2012
Dan A says: I've only had 1 lesson so far with Lindsey but it was great! Next lesson is tomorrow, I have a feeling she is going to have me playing better in no time! Dan Altvater
Camille is my PRO!
4/18/2012
Josephine W says: This is the start of my 4th year at golf. Working with Camille allowed me to break hundred last year and she knows how to fix my swing! I would only work with Camille and she is the golf pro for me.

No longer nervous thanks to Lyndsey
4/16/2012
Jeff D says: My buddy and I went for our first golf lesson this past Friday. We've both been wanting to learn for years and were a little nervous but we took the leap and Lyndsey caught us. Not only did she come in on her day off to meet with us, she was very patient and friendly and helped coach our baseball bat swings into golf club swings. We both bought a 5-pack of lessons and we've got our next session lined up. Thanks Lyndsey!
Pete Dixon is a master!
4/15/2012
Michael H says: Pete made a huge breakthrough with me yesterday, and in one hour, I am on a path to making my swing so much more repeatable than it was before. Other teachers that I've been to at other locations just haven't been able to diagnose/explain my faults in a way that get results like Pete has been able to do. He's a miracle worker!
Thank You, Ken Overby
4/15/2012
Jason O says: With a calming, friendly and encouraging manner, Ken studied my swing and helped me make instant improvements to my grip and posture. After my lesson i purchased a package of 10 lessons with Ken and look forward spending more time with him at Interbay.
Casey McMullin
4/11/2012
David H says: Excellent. He keeps it all very simple. Of my at least 12 swing flaws I am able to work on the worst two and build off of it. His hints of what to do to correct them were excellent. Now I just need to practice little. He is also very enjoyable to work with.
Camille is a Terrific Teacher
4/08/2012
Miguel E says: My wife, Michelle and I have been taking lessons off and on now from Camille for a little under two years. We've easily taken 10-15 strokes off our our handicaps. She's a very easy going, insightful, patient teacher with a good sense of humor. We were beginners when we first started seeing her and a bit nervous. She's very good a putting you at ease and making certain you don't take yourself too seriously. She's quick at spotting flaws and makes excellent use of video to show you your swing. And she has many tricks, tips and drills that help you to create and reinforce a proper swing.
Camille Surdi
4/07/2012
Dave Y says: Yesterday, I had my first lesson with Camille and it was great. I have been golfing for a few years and have had a few different instructors during the time. I always had this hitch with my swing that I have had a tough time getting rid of. My past instructors have noticed it too and have tried to help me with it. However, after my first lesson with Camille yesterday I started seeing improvement. Granted it was only 1/2 hour, but Camille did a awesome job explaining why I was doing it and was excellent at explaining and demonstrating how to fix the problem. She is a great instructor and I have already purchased a few additional lessons w/her and looking forward continue refining my swing for the upcoming season. Thanks Camille!
Camille Rocks!!
4/07/2012
Nancy P says: Yesterday, I had a great lesson w/ Camille. She knew from the beginning how to gain my trust so I could get the most of the time together. I play w/ a driver that I have had a long time, Camille pointed out the need to have it re-gripped. She pointed out little things that made a significant difference in getting the ball out there. She was very specific and clear in her instruction. Now I will need to just do it in play. Playing is no fun when you play poorly. I scheduled two additional lessons w/ her and looking forward to the 2012 season.
Lesson with Camille
4/06/2012
Deb V says: This is my 3rd season working with Camille and she is awesome to work with. She continues to fine tune my swing and relates whatever we're working on in terms I can understand and translate to the golf course. My handicap continues to come down!
Great Lesson
3/28/2012
Denis D says: I had a great lesson with Ron Hanson. He is helping me get back on track. I will come and see him again and would recommend him to anyone.
Thank you, Ken Overby
3/23/2012
Jeff M says: Yesterday's lesson with Ken was terrific. He's fun, upbeat, and engaged, and gave me just a few key thoughts to help me progress. Single digits, here we come...
Ken Overby
3/11/2012
Char S says: Ken and I are working on my short game - specifically, getting the ball on the green, closer to the hole. We had a good lesson last week and I have already seen improvement. Looking forward to the next lesson.
Impressed with Ron
3/09/2012
david B says: My swing is a mess. Ron has a unique way of breaking it down into language I understand. After my first 1/2 hour session, my swing still sucks, but I see a path to fixing it. With every other instructor I've tried, I never had that feeling. He is extremely knowledgeable about the mechanics of the swing as most instructors are; the difference is that he knows how to communicate that back to the student in a way that makes it easy to process and implement. I'm looking forward to my next lesson.
Ken Overby
3/09/2012
John B says: I enjoy Ken's approach to teaching. He works on one or two topics during the lessons, which makes for a quick recall during practice time. He has a very positive approach to teaching.
Ken Overby
3/02/2012
Bill B says: I've taken lessons with Ken over the last few years. I like his relaxed style and pace of teaching, and working on just a few things at a time, as well as explaining the concepts simply, which works well for me.
Casey
3/01/2012
jak s says: Casey does a great job recognizing faults instantly and providing a fix. Shows 1/2 hour of lessons is worth hundreds on hours spent on the range making your faults even worse. Booked a 10 lesson series to fix my faults and not backslide into old habits. Casey showed me it's possible to rebuild a proper golf swing even after years of playing. Great work
Group Lessons
2/26/2012
Patricia H says: Camille Surdi had our group of 5 all set up well before we arrived! Her lessons are great and to the point. All 5 of agreed to that with fervor. If you want the best, go to Camille.
New to Golf and thanks to Camille
2/25/2012
Anne F says: Anne F says: A beginner to golf as an older person, I spent the first lesson trying to understand the golf swing. I learned that it isn't easy to relax through the process - this must come later. Camille was very persistent and cheerful and it meant everything to hear a little bit of encouragement. I will continue with the lessons as I rather enjoy the process of learning a very new thing. Delightful!
Great Lesson! Thanks Camille
2/22/2012
Karen B says: I have been golfing for many years, but seem to revert to old habits. Camille didn't try and redo everything, but pointed out a few things that I could do differenlty with my swing and I was hitting the ball long and straight. She is a great instructor and I have a series of lessons ahead to improve my game. She made me feel much more confident about my game.
Camille is fantastic
2/15/2012
Sharon B says: I started taking golf lessons last summer and needed to brush up on some of the basics. Within 1/2 hour with Camille I was back on track and my convidence was soaring (not to mention some well hit balls). Now I'm ready to purchase those golf shoes... Thanks, Camille!
Camille is a genius
2/12/2012
Steve M says: 1 lesson fixed a ton of glitches. She's really turned my golf game around. When I first saw her, I was a complete mess...she helped me rediscover the fundamentals of my golf swing and has improved my distance and accuracy a great deal (I now hit driver 280+). I still have a lot of work to do, but with her help I'll get there. She's very friendly, personable, patient, and knowledgeable of the game. She's a terrific instructor and I really enjoy working with her.
Camille Knows Golf!
2/11/2012
Jill R says: There's so much that can go wrong with a golf swing. Camille keeps it simple, focusing on changes that result in immediate improvement. She's great at figuring out the problem and patience with showing you how to fix it.
Another Great Lesson with Camille
2/09/2012
Pam G says: I've taken lessons with Camille off and on over the past three years. I always know that when I'm feeling my game is off, I can go in for a tune-up and Camille will get me back on track. She has a natural talent and a keen eye for detecting parts of the swing that might be causing problems. And, is very adept at explaining and demostrating the fix for the problem. On this particular visit I was trying to resolve a problem with an open clubface at contact. I left my lesson with not only with a better understanding of what I was doing wrong, but with a great series of drills to do at home. Thanks Camille!

Jim C says: I have taken a number of lessons from Pete over the years ever since I decided I wanted to play well! I play regularly and try to see him at the beginning of each year. Each visit Pete always brings something else to the table for me to work on or better yet, he point out things for me to correct! Taking direction from him is like talking to a friend. The way he explains the "swing" is unique in a way that I will be able to memorize and recall it on the course while playing. Keep up the outstanding work Pete!

Lisa S says: Pete is a wonderful teacher. He never tires of my questions and finds different ways to explain the same concept to make it memorable. I am a new golfer with a good swing because if Pete. I am a member of a local golf club, but go to Interbay to see Pete for me lessons. Highly recommended.
Camille Surdi

Janine C says: Camille is very easy to work with, she listened to what I said and communicated clearly. After asking what I wanted to work on, she broke down my lesson into simple, easy to execute steps that I can work on until my next lesson. I'm looking forward to making significant improvement in my game and attain the consistency I want to see.

Michael F says: Peter is an excellent teacher. He breaks down the problem and gives his student a fix which works. He will stay on a problem until it's fixed and then move on to make sure it is incorporated into the student's swing.
Thank you Ron!!!

Adam S says: I learned so much about my own swing and can't wait to take another lesson from Ron. Many Thanks, Adam
Lesson with Ron

Pietro P says: Should one get tired of listening to the same thing over and over? ABSOLUTELY not! A lesson with Ron is a great pair of eyes on your swing and one more take on the same message, the key to great new swings and an insight in your own twisted way to golf. Great woods session, even better time in the sand trap where I was given the best tip ever...
Fun and motivating lesson

Akemi M says: Yesterday Camille taught me so much in one lesson. We laughed a lot and she corrected my misinterpretations of how to pitch and chip. I don't thing I was doing one thing correctly! By the end of the lesson, I had learned the stance, weight distribution, and swing for chipping and pitching and even improved my aim. I am inspired to practice, practice, practice! My positive attitude toward the game is reinforced! Thank you Camille.
Lesson with Camille Surdi

Todd P says: Camille is really a great teacher. I'd worked with her several years ago, and just haven't played a lot of golf since then. I had one lesson left from that series - she reminded me and I came in, not expecting too much. She has the ability to see immediately the biggest things wrong with a person's swing, and quickly identified the main things I needed to change. I was able to at least partly adapt to her instruction, and hit the ball a few times, amid many poor attempts, in a way I probably never have. She gave me very specific advice, all of which would contribute to a much, much more solid swing if I can find a way to incorporate it into my everyday swing. She is great, and very encouraging. I'll be back for more lessons with Camille.
Lesson quality and Bookfresh
12/11/2011
Cheryl R says: My lesson was great and focused on a particular swing flaw. Left knowing what I was doing wrong and how to work to correct it. Bookfresh is GREAT. I will book lessons more often and more readily because it is so easy. Much easier than calling and can happen at any hour of the day. This is a great improvement to over the phone booking.
Peter is a great teacher

Michelle P says: My boyfriend and I recently had a lesson with Peter. I have had lessons before from others and never got what I was looking for. I am left handed and my previous instructors have always just told me what to do and then said "use your opposite side". Peter didn't do this - he was extremely helpful and showed me exactly what I needed to do to correct my swing. He spent an equal amount of time with my boyfriend and showed him some things he was doing with his drives. He was patient, he explained everything and he had a sense of humor. We will be back for another lesson very soon.
Casey McMullin was a big help
2/14/2012
Jim B says:  Casey spotted right away that my grip pressure was way to tight, preventing me from getting a good wrist cock and thus loosing power on my swing. It was very helpful to view my swing on the monitor. You don't realize what you are doing until you see for yourself. I'll be working on being more relaxed and fluid in my golf swing and look forward to mly next lesson with Casey.

Golf lessons with Camille
Teri C says:
Camille teaches golf with just the right balance for me. In 3 lessons last year I was able to play golf. She combines her golf teaching with humor and a 'Zen' sense of just the right amount of feedback to keep me focussed and learning. Camille changed the game for me; I am really motivated to learn to play well.

30 Minute Session
Andrew A says:
I went in with an open mind, knowing that only so much could be done in 30 minutes. The instructor, Ken Overby, was great at highlighting some points for me to be consistent in my game after observing my swing.

Mark B says:
I have taken lessons with Pete (on and off) for several years.
