The cut is so professional it almost looks like they were cut 1 week ago and it's grown enough so it doesn't look like they were just groomed. Incredible. It's even more amazing because they each have different kinds of hair. One is long thick and straight. The other is curly and fine. Sylvano seems genuinely happy in this job and it shows. I am certainly happy with the outcome. Use this groomer!

Maddie looks fabulous and walks around like she owns the world. My almost 2 year-old has been adorning Maddie's hair for the last several months with food and toys. Silvano gave her a spa day and she looks wonderful. Since she didn't try to rush me out the door (a first) when I picked her up I think she had great fun with Silvano!
The decor is all high fashion posters and the salon chic, I love it!

He made Tasha, my beautiful Husky, pretty all over! She was groomed exactly the way we thought she should be, nails done, ears cleaned, legs, paws, body trimmed just perfectly. Silvano Thank you so much for the wonderful job! We will now be going here for life! (also on another note, for those of you reading reviews, sometimes on returning from the groomers, our Tasha would act a little weird, almost as if she were hurt, but NOT this time around.) I highly recommend Sylvano!

Being disabled with spinal arthritis, it is rather taxing on me to do so. I used to live in the neighborhood where Hot Dogz is located, and my neighbor took his dog there, so after having to move my family due to my husband's terminal illness, we decided to give them a shot at grooming our dog. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The time and care given to my dog was incredibly impressive, and she was absolutely adorable when the grooming was over, not to mention relaxed and happy.
I am so thrilled to have found a competent and caring groomer in Spokane! My home grooming days are over!

We've tried a couple of different groomers here in town (one came highly recommended) and all they ever do is shave him. He ends up looking goofy and skinny. Sylvano took the time to brush out the mats and then gave him the best cut he's ever had. Ralphie came home looking adorable and regal. I'm so happy I found Sylvano. I believe that we have found our groomer. Sylvano is also one of the friendliest people I have ever met. Great little shop and wonderful personal service.

At some point in her life, I sure that she had been tramatized by a groomer. The groomer that I have been taking her to was wonderful, but just couldn't groom Pebbles without being bitten repeatedly (thus the sedation). My vet DOES NOT like to sedate a pet, so he recommended Sylvano. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Pebbles was groomed by Sylvano last Friday, without sedation! Sylvano through kindness and gentleness was able to groom my beautiful little Pebbles with NO PROBLEMS! He was AMAZING TO WATCH! From now on....NOBODY but Sylvano will EVER touch my Pebbles again. He was greeted by cats and a beautiful poodle and Sylvano who made him feel comfortable. I was concerned about removing the hair in his ears, in the past his ears have become very irritated and sore after grooming. However, Sylvano showed me how he removes the hair and did it while my dog was on my lap; there was no pain and no redness. I was very impressed and happy.
Rowdy looked the best ever when I picked him up. I now call him my Teddy Bear.

Yavett S says: I didnt know what to expect when we arrived but to my surprise, Sylvano's staff met my 11 week old Westie puppy, Fletcher and I at the door and welcomed us. Sylvano took great care when giving Fletcher his first nail trim. Fletcher will see Sylvano again for his first big boy hair cut in a few weeks. I wont trust Fletchers care with anyone else.

Sylvano took my request to not shave her unless necessary, completely to heart. He dematted, detangled and trimmed her perfectly!! No shaving! She is an old girl, 14 years old, and he took very special care of her.
I highly recommend Sylvano. And he loves animals as much as we do - this is very evident.

But when I picked her up I could tell by her demeanor that she had been really enjoyed her grooming and she was happy and confident. Sylvano even walked her out to the car and said goodbye to her and I could see that he really has a special place in his heart for animals.

The other day I got sick of the drive, so I decided to call Sylvano for his prices. I was suprised how reasonable....less than I had been paying all this time!! I asked for an appt. and he was able to get us in right away! When we arrived, Sylvano greeted us and right away made my dog Charlie (golden ret/chow) feel comfortable. He called me when Charlie was done, which was amazingly quick, and I went to see a new dog. I mean this from my heart when I say it was the best haircut Charlie has ever had. The attention to detail in the paws and ears was amazing!! And Charlie was so proud and happy! We will definitely be lifetimers at Sylvano's!! Thank you so much :)

I was in tears, as he was to meet his new family that weekend and now looked like a messy uneven patchwork quilt with his face shaved to the skin. Nothing was uniform. He was shaped all out of proportion from the previous groomer (who refused to re-imburse my money).
Due to the extreme circumstances, Sylvano made sure to fit my little one in before the weekend, and literally saved the day! I have never before seen Patriot look so stinkin' CUTE!
