Onix embarked on this lifelong journey to seek and explore �human excellence� when she began her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. Later she was driven to continue learning more about Human Behavior, which led her to study hypnotherapy, past life regression, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), parapsychology and much more.
At the age of 24, she founded Clear View Hypnotherapy Institute in Miami Florida, a center that specializes in assisting individuals to achieve personal excellence and well-being. Onix has helped numerous people to transform their lives � creating accelerated, positive and permanent changes in their conducts.
Currently, she is working on a dual degree, Master and Doctorate in Transpersonal Counseling from the University of Sedona.
On May 2008, Claudia Arbelaez, founder of the Organization Merecer; invited Onix to teach the first Clinical Hypnosis Training in Caracas, Venezuela tailored for an elite group of mental health professionals. Within this group of 25 professionals, there were distinguished names like Dr. Humberto Blanco (Internationally-renowned Psychiatrist and Author), Luis Maritza Armas and Granya Gonzalez Gruber to name a few. The 45 hour intensive training was directed and delivered by Onix, who is affiliated and recognized by various worldwide hypnotherapy organizations as Master Hypnosis Instructor. As of today, Merecer has established the first hypnosis clinic in Caracas, Venezuela with six of the greatest mental health professionals from the training.
Onix is also an adjunct instructor at Miami Dade College, where she has taught various personal development seminars to its fellow students. She has an unparallel dynamic and unique teaching style. The technique she applies in her seminars has facilitated positive and effective changes in many individuals. Onix�s goal is to lead her group to discover and awaken the potential and power that lies within every one of them.
She is the creator of workshops like �Challenge Your Mind for Success� and �Applying the Law of Attraction with Hypnosis.�
Onix is also known for her volunteer work with The Center for Positive Connections, a non-profit organization that offers holistic services to people with HIV/AIDS.

Rev. Lorraine Meyer, HDD, BCHt, is a certified Clinical Hypnotist through the Na...tional Board of Professional and Ethical Standards Hypnosis Education . While Lorraine received her training in Hypnosis at Clear View Hypnotherapy Institute in Miami, she continues to broaden her knowledge by attending workshops and training sessions. Her current emphasis of study is Hypnobirthing.
Lorraine is highly qualified to assist her clients in achieving their goals. She treats each client’s needs individually, working with them to develop a plan of action. It is imperative to her that the people she works with are involved in every aspect of their treatment. Lorraine brings her background in Theatre (BA in Theatre Arts from Rollins College,) to her creative script writing and session recording style. Lorraine sees the possible uses of hypnosis as unlimited, including: weight loss, smoking cessation, reducing the effects of stress and eliminating fear or unwanted habits.
Lorraine is also a Usui Reiki Master and Teacher.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that the " universal life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.
After a difficult year watching as her husband persevered through several procedures and complications from a brain tumor, Lorraine realized it was time to bring the Reiki she was using in her own life and healing to others. She found that more and more often she was moved to ask strangers if she could offer them the healing comfort of Reiki, and while many times those strangers had to ask her what Reiki is, no one ever said no once she explained.
Lorraine is available for individual client sessions and teaches Level I, II and III Usui Reiki Classes with attunements. She is a member of the World Reiki Ministry.
