Find Out How!

Children’s party entertainers are usually a cheerful set of individuals. Most entrepreneurs who run this type of business generally love children and are able to bring about a sense of joy in others. However, when it comes to the business aspect, it can be stressful due to competition. Here are a few ways of advertising your business without necessarily having to lose that cheerful business attitude.

First, here are a few considerations that are specific to the business of entertaining at children’s parties.

  • Parents are constantly looking for children’s party entertainers. Consider this: there are 365 days in a year. Everyday, there are hundreds of people having birthdays and a lot of these are children who want to have children’s party. Your business should be visible in case their parents start looking for children’s party entertainers.
  • Parents may easily forget names and contact information. Make it a point to have cards and brochures and ads ready at all times.
  • Parents are considering not only one but two or more party providers. Help them decide by showing them your edge.
  • Almost all of your business problems can be resolved through effective advertising. Advertising can be a big investment, but if you can establish brand and name recall, you can expect a big return from this investment. Advertising does not necessarily mean having to spend on TV and radio commercials and billboards. Sometimes, it’s as simple as giving away loot bags you’re your brochure or logo during parties, or sending out holiday gifts to families you have entertained in past parties.

Here are a few tips in making sure your message gets through.

  • Clearly deliver one message. What do you want to tell about your business? It can be a simple tagline like “Your child party’s happiness provider.” Establish a catchphrase or a saying that people will easily remember and associate with you.
  • Be credible. It’s natural for your any market to distrust ads. Be sure that if you will feature some claims on your ads, you can live up to these claims.
  • Match your ad to your target market. Are you marketing to parents or their children? Parents might have different tastes in party entertainment. And different types of children have different tastes, too. For instance, younger children might be interested in magicians. Pre-teens might be interested in band music. Determine this first and make sure that your ad is well-attuned to your target market. If your business caters to different tastes, then you can have different ads, too.
  • Make your contact information handy. Be sure you have handouts, flyers, brochures and calling cards available so that parents and kids can easily get in touch with you. You should have these on hand in events like parties, and you can also partner with party-supply stores, where parents looking for party entertainment might be asking around.

Budget is not really a big issue when advertising for children’s party entertainers. All you need is your creativity to make this possible. Here are some simple ad ideas.

Online ads.

Using online resources may not only be effective but very cost-efficient too. You can always advertise on party-related websites that run Google AdSesne ads. These ads are pay-per-click, meaning you don’t have to pay when no one clicks on your ads.You can place free ads on local-based ad listing sites, such as craiglist.org. This website can trim down searches via location, so people will have an easier time finding you.

Run a blog, newsletter or website.

Consider setting up a free blog or even a website for your business. too. Make sure to keep these updated with fresh content. You can include pictures, videos and write-ups of your past events, which can be used by potential clients in checking if your material is good. You can also provide photos of sample materials used for the parties, like giveaways, costumes, and the like.

Remember that advertising is all about bringing a message across and helping people remember you. Be sure to exude a positive image, because it’s children you will be entertaining after all.

I think looking at your target market is definitely the most important aspect. There's not point in advertising to the wrong people.
