Find Out How!

Pardon the word play, but anxiety therapists don’t need to be anxious about marketing their services. It isn’t that marketing is not important (how else are you going to get clients?), but there are just so many options that the only thing anxiety therapists should worry about is how many ways they want to market themselves. Here are some of the many ways all you anxiety therapists out there can market your services:

  • Word of Mouth
One snazzy way to get easy marketing for your practice is through the oldest trick in the book – by getting people to talk about it. Word of mouth is the original mass marketing tool, and it’s the easiest one to use. All you have to do is tell your friends something to the effect of “I’m running an anxiety therapy practice now. Tell your friends!” Of course, this works best when you know people who have anxiety issues to begin with.
  • Flyers
It doesn’t really cost much to print a hundred or so flyers to market your practice. What it’ll take a lot of, however, is your time. Can you imagine trying to pass these to every person who walks by? Thankfully, hiring someone to hand these out for you while you attend to more pressing matters shouldn’t cost too much, either.
  • Print Ads
If your budget allows for it, you can reach a wider audience by posting print ads in newspapers, magazines, and other publications. Not only are these more attractive than flyers, but they lend a more professional image to your practice. They might set you back a pretty penny, but they’ll be worth it once the clients start coming in.
  • Website
Of course, you could always let a spiffy website do the talking for you. A well-designed website can do oodles more for marketing your services than print ads and flyers can. For one thing, there’s no restriction on the amount of information you can put into your website. There’s also no additional cost for the use of colorful, attractive graphics, either. Hiring a professional web developer to work on your website can turn out to be one of the best investments you’ve ever made.
  • Blogs and Networking Sites
We live in a social world. Why not capitalize on that fact? Many marketers these days are turning to blogs and social networking sites to get the word out on their products. A few posts on anxiety therapy (with your contact information and links to your website in them, of course) can work wonders for your marketing endeavors. It also adds a bit of a personal touch to your marketing endeavors, something your clients will love.
  • Directories
Just like being in the phonebook, getting listed on online directories brings your practice into the awareness of more than just a few people. Submit your information and website to directories such as DMOZ, and watch the inquiries fly in.
  • Mix and Match
Any marketer will tell you that there is no single most effective marketing tactic. If you want people to know of your services as an anxiety therapist, your best bet is to use a combination of the techniques above, as well as others not mentioned.
