Finally, there is promotion. Basically, this is letting the consumers know that your product is now available for them, hence the term promotional products and promotional items. As it is with the other three, it is also crucial to determine the right promotional approach to a certain product.
Differentiating Marketing from Promotion
Many people claim that they are marketers when the truth is that they are merely promoters. Marketers are those who invest a lot of time and effort to come up with effective business marketing and promotion. Planning and testing of the different variables involved in marketing are done to be able to measure which methods are beneficial for the company. This way, marketing expenses are spent wisely. This is what a promoter missed out. He is just merely a promoter who focuses on the promoting aspect of the business.
