Melanie A says: Every time I come into Confidence Spa, I am pleasantly surprised. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. I get a facial and microdermabrasion. Never can go anywhere else. They are always busy, but professional and on-time. AND they have incredible specials. Love this place!

Tiffany N says: I have been coming to this Salon for my monthly Brazillian Wax for well over two years now, and there is always an issue with the front desk. It doesn't matter if I make my next month's appointment right there at the desk, call in, or use the online system-- they never fail to try and stick me with a random associate, despite the fact that I always ask for appointments specifically with Lisa. Lisa has confided that I am not the only customer the front desk has done this to, apparently they have even told people she was on vacation when she was not. Since the salon gets their cut regardless of who services you, I don't know why they are so petty with her customers, but Lisa is great so do request her for your Brazillian-- she'll give you her cell number in case the front desk tries any of their foolery. I would give her five stars, but for the salon as a whole I have to bump it down to two.

Kim K says: I was so nerves to get a brazillian wax because it was my first time. Maria guided me through from when I first came in. When she started I was sweating like crazy but she was talking to me thought out the whole wax to take my mind off of it. And t worked. It wasn't painful as I thought it would be. Thanks Maria I will be coming back myself along with other friends to you!!!!!

-1 star for appointment issues. I just contact Larisa directly when I need to see her, which has solved the problem...

Shante P says: I was originally scheduled to see Larisa but I was given to Maria. I was shocked to see the extra space that was downstairs. This was my second experience here and it has always been clean. I must say, Maria was not as gentle with my brazilian wax as Larisa. Her technique made me uncomfortable. When I took a look after the fact, she left some spots untouched which was disappointing. This will not deter me from going back, I just won't have Maria do my wax.
Galina is awesome!

She really listens to what I ask for and gives me exactly that--quickly and painlessly. I don't have to worry I'm going to walk out with anything other than precisely what I wanted, which is not the case with some people. I highly recommend Rufina.

I never felt that I was waiting for too long, or that they were ignoring me. I got a facial, and it was soooo relaxing, and I felt really great afterwards. I also got the paraffin manicure pedicure combo. It made my skin feel so soft and moisturized. All three were $90, what a great deal for such great service!!! I'm looking forward to my brazilian and Lazar hair removal on Wednesday!

Alison W says: I moved to NYC in July of 2008 and traveled everywhere to find a competent (and clean) waxing specialist. Once I came to Lisa at confidence, I was done looking. It is clear Lisa has years of experience -- she is clean, professional, and gets the job done quickly (without rushing so you get a great wax). She makes you feel comfortable and truly cares that you are happy with the services you receive. She works hard to keep the salon clean and emphasizes the importance of a clean workspace to other staff. I give Lisa the highest of recommendations and I'm sure if you try her you will too.
I also suggest you try the chocolate wax if you have sensitive skin -- it smells delicious and is easier on the skin!
