Virginia H says: I was very Satisfied with the Outstanding customer service when Jamie came all the way out to Eutawville to service my home even though the Groupon stated that they only did Berkely, and Dorchester counties, because when I bought the Groupon, it asked for my location. I put in my address and Zpest showed up, so I bought it not reading the small print saying that they didn't come out to Orangeburg county. Although there were some booking problems initially , Jamie came out and did a Fantastic job spraying the mobile inside and out that we were moving into all for the $29 Groupon fee!! I believe they only get half of that money for their service, so I know that he lost money coming to my home. When I offered to give him gas money for traveling so far he flat out refused it! He was completely Professional and very knowledgable!! I was so Happy with the Customer Service aspect as well as the Service part that I signed on for new service. They fogged the entire perimeter of my house and every bug was just dropping, even the poisonous ones I was scared of! They were very thorough and explained a lot to me escpesulally since I have kids and wasn't sure of some things.

When the technician came he had done some research and had print outs with various suggested courses of action. We tried them ansd they appear to work. Courteous, thorough and conscientious too!

Heather H says: I bought the Groupon special. I'm pretty sure the gentleman who came to my home was the owner and not just an hourly employee. I got the feeling that he wants to connect with his customers and to personally assure them that his company is there to help you. We started noticing we were having a roach problem at the beginning of summer which quickly escalated and it doesn't matter how clean you think your house might be. If you see a roach in it you feel a certain kind of way about yourself. They came out for the initial appointment and sprayed just about every inch of our home and went into every room from first floor to the third even though I had only seen the pests in the kitchen. He told me it takes time, and that additional treatments may be necessary. We set up a follow up appointment and ::knock on wood:: I haven't really seen much of those nasty critters since. What I have seen are dead or dying. We signed up for quarterly service to keep them at bay.

Jamie was excellent and definitely knows what he is doing. The only reason for 4 stars was my appointment was at 5:00 and I left early from work to be there on time and I got a phone call at 5:25 that they were running late and did not show up until 5:45. I had already left message on their voicemail. But to their credit, I got a phone call first thing this morning ensuring that my appointment had been kept and apologies for the tardiness.

In fact, the owner himself came out and was very knowledgeable, patient and did a thorough job of explaining the "bug situation" to me. He identified some potential concerns but was not pushy or insistant on trying to get us to sign any contract for any services. We had used a Groupon and he did not even push for us to sign a contract for any continual service either. Oh, and I realize now I should have calmed down before hitting the "send" button on the first review. Initially great but no follow through
Karen E says: Purchased Groupon voucher for initial treatment. Appointment was 45 mins late but Debra called to let me know that she was running late due to car trouble. When she arrived, she was personable and seemed knowledgable. Disappointed in her follow through though. She took a few of the bugs with her to try and determine what exactly they were. She stated that she would call me later that day after discussing it with the owner. It has been almost a week and I've heard nothing. Not to mention the bugs are still here. I understand that multiple treatments are sometimes necessary but not following up is poor customer service.

The new guy came yesterday and he was very helpful and explained to me what the problem was. So we will see how it goes from here. If they could only get the appointments right...

The last time I got an appointment change in an email an hour before he was to show, never got a call saying it was changed. So the reschedule was an hour later and I finally get a call 15 minutes after the RESCHEDULED appointment saying he was on the way. They tend to reschedule things willy-nilly. Once he got there he was pretty through and there is a definate improvement. I will continue to use them if they can get their appointments right

Friendly but ineffective

That said, the first thing I showed Debbie is what I now know to be a flying ant infestation on my screened porch. She & another lady (also very kind) went to it & I excused myself to finish putting my makeup on. Fifteen minutes later they were out the door. I must have been wrong in assuming they sprayed the porch because the flying ants are as bad as ever & the same fat, happy spider that was there before the appt was still very fat & happy till I sprayed Mean Green on him. I understand that more than one appt may have been needed, but to not even spray or offer resolution makes me question how well the rest of the house was sprayed when I wasn't watching, if sprayed at all. Bummer.

What kind of customer service is that? I feel cheated, although I only paid $29 for the service through Groupon, but I should be refunded. I plan to leave bad reviews on Groupon. I quote from your website: will do the job right—the first time! Well, no, and you make no attempt to correct the problem? You won't stay in business long!"
Extremely disappointed
Stacie P says: Once upon a time I had a contract with Zpest. It lasted a year and I was quite happy with their services, excepting a few minor scheduling issues. That contract has since expired (about 6 months ago) and I chose not to renew. I was contacted via phone a week ago about scheduling an appointment. I missed the original call and, truthfully, forgot to call them back. There were 2 emails sent to an account that I rarely use. I had no contact with the company regarding scheduling or confirming of this appointment, nor had I requested it. Then I came home to a note on my door stating they would call for payment as I had missed my appointment. The real kicker? The charge was going to be $75. The note was written on an advertisement from Zpest...$29 any size house. I just found this experience extremely arrogant on their part, and so much less than what I had come to expect from Jamie.
Late to Appointment - Didn't call back to reschedule

I included a message in the booking process if there was any additional times available this week or last, and that question was not answered. I received a call the next day only confirming the time. I understand this meant there was no other times available, but it would have been nice if they validated that. I was hoping to have the potential 2 hour session completed earlier so I could leave my home without worry of the pest control still being at my home. I received a call at 7:10 that the GPS took the person to Kmart. At that point they would have been a half hour late and not been worth to come, so I asked them to call me back and reschedule. They agreed, but never called me back. I was going to call back and clarify, but received this automated request about how my appointment was. I am not certain if I even want to proceed or request a refund from Groupon or the company. Something I thought would be a cheap and convenient way to remove my cockroach problem has become a hassle due to poor customer service.
Very Disappointed
Rheba D says: I checked the appointment schedule prior to purchasing my Groupon. There were 2-3 appointments available for 6/22/13 and I quickly chose one and bought 2 Groupons. I thought from reviews it would be well worth the price for my house and a later date for my daughter's house. I purchased these on 6/18/13 and immediately got a letter saying that I would be contacted to confirm my appointment. I finally heard back from the company on 6/20/13 with a voice message stating that they could not approve my chosen appointment because they were booked until July. I was trying to get the service done before out-of-state company arrives on 6/24/13 with 2 young children with Cystic Fibrosis. With all the rain lately the Palmetto bugs have been the worst in the 20+ years I have lived in my house and I don't want to risk one of them taking a stroll over a sleeping or crawling child. Again, very disappointed at the advertising for an appointment choice and then being denied the appointment. I will also be e-mailing Groupon as to my dissatisfaction.

All other time slots are held for quarterly customers or self paying customers(not a voucher). A 24 hour notice is required to cancel or change your appointment.
